Steve Walsh brings over 40 years of executive experience in investment and energy.

After serving in the United States Marine Corps, he joined the AES Corporation to take a senior leadership position in operations.

Since 2019, he has been an independent member of the Supervisory Board of Ukrhydroenergo. Mr. Walsh chairs the working group on employee training, which unites members of the Supervisory Board and the company’s management.

Steve Walsh will discuss how Ukrhydroenergo is modifying its current infrastructure to boost resilience in the face of wartime difficulties. He’ll provide perspectives on governance and investment programs that support turning brownfield locations into dependable energy resources for Ukraine’s future.
