Mr. GAO Peng is the Board Chairman of China Three Gorges Construction Engineering Corporation (CTGCE), Executive Director of the 9th Council of the China Society for Hydropower Engineering, Member of the Hydropower Survey and Design Standardization Technical Committee of Energy Industry, Director of the China Electricity Council.  

He joined China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG) in 2006, had served as Vice President of CTGCE and Vice President of China Three Gorges International Corporation (CTGI), was appointed President of CTGCE in October 2023 and Board Chairman of CTGCE in November 2024.

He leads with excellent strategic vision and outstanding capabilities in large-scale hydropower project construction management and technological innovation. He has participated in the construction management of large and medium-sized hydropower stations at home and abroad, such as Xiangjiaba, Karot, as well as the development and construction, project contracting of the Yangtze River conservation project, development and construction of pumped storage and renewable energy projects, and operation of overseas hydropower stations. His work experiences cover major sectors of CTG, including large-scale hydropower, pumped storage, Yangtze River conservation, renewable energy business, and international business. He has solid professional knowledge, outstanding technical capabilities, and notable scientific and technological achievements.
