Parveen Mittar Nanda is Executive Vice President (Engineering & Projects) in Greenko Group. Presently working on Pumped Storage Projects & Decarbonization mission of Greenko Group. He is Civil Engineer Graduate from NIT Allahabad with Post Graduation from NIT Kurukshetra India.

Has experience of more than 38 years in specialised hydro power where in more than 8 years in Integrated Renewable Energy Storage projects including Pumped storage projects. Also has discrete distinction of equally working in Government and Private sector, i.e., for more than 18 years each.  

Has done extensive work on Off stream Closed Pumped storage projects which includes making Modular Pumped storage projects and optimization of time and Cost by improvisation of layouts and Designs.

He is instrumental in identifying 10 Mega PSPs worth 120 GWH of Energy storage capacity which include recently commissioned World’s Largest Integrated Renewable Energy Projects with Storage (IRESP) of 5.23 GW where Pumped storage component is 1.68 GW. Another IRESP for 5.5 GW capacity is under construction where in PSP component is 1.6 GW. On PSP front second PSP of 1920 MW is ready for commissioning by June 2026 & balance PSPS around 11 GW are planned to be commissioned by 2030.  

He was associated with around 20 hydro projects & Equal Number of Solar & Wind projects spread across 15 states In India till date. Well versed with Statutory requirements & policy framework of energy sector. Hands on experience in dealing with social & environmental aspects & Critical issues associated with planning &implementation of Hydro & Pumped storage projects.

Member of ICOLD (international Commission on Large Dams) Technical Committee of Flood Evaluation and Dam Safety. Board Member International Hydropower Association (IHA) 2025-27.
