Nicolas Boursin joined VINCI Construction Grands Projets in 2007 after graduating in general engineering from ICAM Engineering School in Lille. He has since been involved in major infrastructure, building and civil works across North Africa (Libya, Morocco and Egypt) and in Russia, gaining an expertise in the execution of large and complex civil engineering structures.  

His latest experience was the construction of the turnkey 350MW Abdelmoumen Pumped Storage Project (PSP) in the Atlas Mountains for the VINCI Construction / ANDRITZ Hydro Consortium. Playing a lead role in the project from its outset in 2018, as Construction Director and then Project Director, Nicolas helped overcome various technical challenges. The now operating PSP - second of its kind in Morocco - constitutes a milestone in the country’s renewable energy development programme.
