Dr. Nathalie C. McCaughey, Dr. Econ., M.Econ., serves as General Manager of LSH Consulting Engineers (LSH), a Lima-based firm with Swiss-German roots, established in 2005, that has consistently expanded across Latin America. Recognized for its innovative approach, LSH delivers high-value, practical solutions built on decades of expertise. Under Dr. McCaughey’s leadership, LSH has become a regional reference for large infrastructure projects, hydropower at all scales, and advanced energy storage. Since 2016, LSH has distinguished itself in Peru by being the first to apply advanced probabilistic risk analysis—including Monte Carlo simulation—to ensure project financial viability. The firm is an authority in high-level technical audits and has played a pivotal role in major international infrastructure arbitration cases.

LSH is currently in the final phase of the Feasibility Study for the emblematic CHINECAS irrigation project in Ancash, which includes five large-scale dams and hundreds of kilometres of tunnels and irrigation channels. The company has also recently secured the contract for the CHAVIMOCHIC Phase 3 project—CHINECAS and CHAVIMOCHIC are both considered flagship, large-scale irrigation developments in Peru.
