Mike joined SSE in 1993 as a chartered civil engineer and has since held roles including Director of Engineering, Project Director and Head of Business Development covering Hydro, wind (onshore and offshore) and thermal generation projects.  2 years ago Mike returned from a 2 year assignment as CEO for SSE’s new offshore wind business in Japan and is now leading the team working on the Coire Glas pumped storage project.
