Lynn St-Laurent's role at Hydro-Québec centres around promoting the value of Québec hydropower to exterior markets. Through this work, Lynn developed a deep understanding of the industry’s strengths, challenges, and the more efficient pathways for advancing awareness about sustainable hydropower.This is best exemplified in the efforts carried out to engage with stakeholders and educate citizens on the merits of the New England Clean Energy Connect transmission project in New England, and the Champlain Hudson Power Express in New York.Lynn has worked on the the challenge of social acceptability for transmission infrastructure, revolving aroundgetting the right information on topics ranging from carbon emissions, biodiversity, grid reliability or economic benefits through the right channels.
