Mr Li is a Professor-level Senior Engineer, Doctoral Supervisor, the first batch of Engineering and Technical Experts of State Grid Corporation of China. He holds the position of director of Beijing Key Laboratory of Power Dispatching Automation and System Assessment, director of the Power Dispatching Automation Laboratory of State Grid Corporation of China. Boasting extensive experience in R&D and technology transformation in fields including power dispatching automation and electricity markets, Mr Li is a recipient of the First Prize of the State Scientific and Technological Progress Award and winner of 16 provincial, ministerial or corporate for scientific and technological progress awards. He is also a productive author of nearly 30 SCI/EI-indexed papers and three academic monographs, holding over 50 invention patents.
