Dr. ZHOU Qiujing, Ph.D. Professor-level Senior Engineer and expert in hydraulic structure engineering, currently serves as Director of the National Research Center for Sustainable Hydropower and Director of the Department of Structures and Materials at China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research (IWHR). He concurrently holds positions as Chair of the Numerical Simulation Technical Committee at Chinese National Committee on Large Dams and Deputy Secretary-General of the Hydraulic Structures Committee at Chinese Hydraulic Engineering Society.

Dr. ZHOU has been engaged in the related research fields of hydraulic structure behavior simulation and safety assessment, whole-process performance monitoring and safety management of high dams, as well as concrete temperature control and crack prevention, he has led over 30 major research projects as principal investigator or technical director.
