Daniel Gorodicht is an energy policy and strategy expert with 15 years of international experience spanning Europe and Latin America, with a strong focus on renewables and decarbonisation. He is currently Policy Advisor for Hydropower at Eurelectric, on secondment from Renewables Norway and Norsk Hydro, where he leads policy analysis, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement on hydropower and sustainability.

At Norsk Hydro, Daniel held senior roles in corporate strategy and energy policy, working across Europe, Brazil, and the United States. His experience includes shaping longterm energy strategies, advancing greenfield renewable projects to secure sustainable power supply for aluminium production, and leading policy agendas in multiple jurisdictions.

Previously, Daniel worked in management consulting at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG), building deep strategic and regulatory expertise across the energy value chain.

An economist by training, he holds a Master’s degree in International Energy from Sciences Po (cum laude, top 12% of his class) and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Universidade Federal Fluminense, graduating with honours, and completed all credits for the Master of Science in Accounting and Management at the University of Siena.
