Brian Minhinick is a civil engineer with over 30 years of experience in hydroelectric and pumped storage development. He has worked across the globe for both Contractors and Consultants including SMEC and Entura leading major projects including the 600MW Kameng HEP (India), the 8,000MW Ta Sang HPP (Myanmar), and the 372MW Ulu Jelai Scheme (Malaysia) as part of his role to deliver sustainable business growth.
Since joining Mott MacDonald in 2014, he has led transformative projects across Asia Pacific and beyond, including the landmark Kidston Pumped Storage Project and strategic developments such as Lake Onslow and Pioneer Burdekin PHES.
As Mott MacDonald’s Global Hydropower Practice Leader, Brian champions the delivery of technically excellent, commercially sound solutions that drive positive social and environmental outcomes. His leadership has been instrumental in positioning Mott MacDonald as a trusted advisor in the global energy transition.
