Her team managed an investment of over €15 million in stakeholder engagement projects, significantly impacting the community.

From 2018 to 2021, Ana Paula headed the General Studies Area of EDP Generation, focusing on feasibility and inventory studies for new power initiatives in Portugal, supporting international hydropower projects, and ensuring the geodetic survey of infrastructures along with maintaining a GIS system.

Since 2021, she has led the Engineering Department of EDP Generation, overseeing a team of about 50 collaborators involved in civil engineering, architecture, geology, geotechnics, BIM, land tenure, and geospatial information. This department contributes to studies and projects throughout the life cycle of all EDP Generation's assets.

Since 2021, she has headed the Engineering Department at EDP Generation, overseeing approximately 50 team members in various engineering disciplines and contributing to projects across EDP Generation's asset life cycle. She also leads initiatives in geospatial analytics, hydrometeorological infrastructure, dam security, and the development of a pumping pipeline, including major transformation projects such as the Alto Lindoso reshaping for pumping (with a CAPEX of €100 million).
